A weekly series of simple tips geared toward helping you darken your shade of green. Easily.
Reduce: Reduce your garbage can’s smells by sprinkling baking powder inside them. This also works for removing smells from your carpet, just sprinkle a little baking powder on the carpet before you vacuum.
Reuse: Reuse text books. Buy, sell, trade your text books and lab supplies with others. Not only will it save resources it will save you $.
When I was in college, my friends and I would take classes in opposite semesters so we could use each other’s class materials (text books, lab books, lab equipment, and yes, even lab assignments but shh, don’t tell our teachers)
Recycle: Recycle your magazines by giving them to someone else to enjoy.
(Family member, neighbor, friend, co-worker, leaving them at your daycare, salon, doctor's office. The possibilities are endless!)
Hope you found these tips helpful. Feel free to share any tips you may have.
Have a Great Green Weekend!

I use baking soda on my carpet but I add a little dried lavender to it. :)
Magazines can go to schools, too. Many elementary teachers use old magazines as cut-up materials for collages and assignments.
Great idea Daisy! Spoken like a true teacher ;-)
I love the idea of lavender Lisa!
