My allergy medicine helps to minimize my allergy symptoms but it does not get rid of them completely. This is especially true at night when I lay down to sleep. This is when I can really feel the pressure in my sinus area. So when the kind folks at Brittanies Thyme offered me the chance to sample some of their products, I was more than happy to try their Organic Sinus Relief Pillow. I am very glad I did!
How to Use:
- Gently crush the herbs with fingertips to stimulate the scent.
- Place sinus pillow inside pillowcase at night.
- In the morning, return the sinus pillow to the ziplock bag (which it comes in).
- The sinus pillow will last up to 3 months if stored in the ziplock bag when not in use.
Since I am sensitive to smells (and am allergic to most herbs) I only crushed a small section of the sinus pillow. When I placed the sinus pillow inside my pillowcase I placed it under my pillow (the side next to the bad rather than next to my head).
For me, this was the perfect about of smell, just enough to work without being overpowering. (It reminded me of the calming smells they use during a massage. How could I not sleep well with thought of a massage running through my head)
I used the pillow one night and not the next night to see if I could tell a difference.
I sure could!
The day after I used the pillow I had no sinus pressure. The next day, the pressure was back. After that, the sinus pillow went back into my pillowcase and will continue to live there every night until its smell runs out or allergy season comes to an end.
Even if you don’t have allergies (but might need a little help getting to sleep) I would suggest trying either the sinus pillow or the Organic Sweet Dreams Pillow. At only $7 each it is well worth a try.

It really is. I was actually surprised at just how well it works. I also like that the smell is not over powering.
