A weekly series of simple tips geared toward helping you darken your shade of green. Easily.
Reduce: Reduce the amount of resources used by repairing items instead of discarding and buying new.
Items such as shoes, lamps, appliances & electronics. Remember, there is more to consider than just the price of a replacement.
Reuse: Reuse worn out jeans to make patches.
Most parents would probably agree with me when I say that the knees are the first to go. Instead of “trashing” those torn knee pants, patch them up (this is especially doable on little girls pants where you can use cute patch shapes like hearts)
Recycle: Recycle batteries. Don’t throw them in the garbage.
Hope you found these tips helpful. Feel free to share any tips you may have.
Have a Great Green Weekend!

And dark green goes with my eyes ;-)
You crack me up Kim!
Repair is valuable. A Husband who can repair appliances? Priceless. Yes, he knows I love him for more than his know-how and talent.
Got to love a handy mandy…
