Welcome to 3R Friday!
A weekly sharing of tips for Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling.
Reduce: Reduce you coffee break waste.
Bring a washable cup with you to work and use it instead of paper cups for your coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or water. You may want to leave this cup at work so you always have it.
If you use creamer in your coffee pour the creamer first and then pour the coffee this way you won’t need a stir stick or you can bring a spoon to work too.
Reuse: Reuse glass jars for storage containers.
You can wash the jars and then use them to store all kinds of items in them; items from your pantry, refrigerator, closet, bathroom, kids stuff,, garage stuff, all kinds of stuff. I am learning that the options for reusing glass jars are pretty much endless.
Recycle: Recycle books.
Once your children have out grown their books pass them along; family, friends, daycare, beauty salons, police station, doctor’s office, schools, churches, libraries, used book stores, neighbors, thrift stores, any place with a waiting room.
It might also be fun to have a book exchange party!
I hope you have found these tips helpful! Please feel free to share your 3 Rs too.
Have a safe, happy, Green weekend!
