As I was reading through my blog roll I read this post from EnviroMom: Saving glass jars
It was one of those posts that made me smack myself on the forehead and say duh, how could I have never thought of this before. I seriously just put 3 glass jars in the recycling bin, including my Adams peanut butter jar. After seeing her nice clean jars filled with all kinds of bulk goods I have been inspired to do the same.

I had this lightbulb moment a few months ago. My husband likes them too, so we are always competing to get that fresh clean jar1 :)
Yeah I save jars for storing different food in. I had some bulk baking powder I store in a glass jar some fruit came in, baking soda in a jar from umm.. not sure lol, pasta in apple sauce jars, and so on.
Wow! You guys are way ahead of me on this one. I feel so silly for not having thought of this myself. Oh well, I am on it now. I cleaned out my first jar tonight. Now I have to figure out what to put in it...
