Ecogear Review and Giveaway

This contest is now closed. Congratulations to silverhartgilr!
There is a line of backpacks out that I am very excited to introduce you to: ECOZOO animal bags from Ecogear.

These adorable bags come in fun shapes and colors; a pink pig, a brown puppy, a black and white panda (my favorite) and this very cute blue elephant.

My daughter literally squealed with delight when she found out that this cute elephant was all hers (Thanks ecogear!) She gave it a big hug and then put it right on, all by herself.

We received the backpack the day before we took a ferry ride to Canada (perfect timing!) The ECOZOO animal bag was the perfect size for her to carry an extra set of clothes, water bottle, and camera. She was able to get in and out of the bag very easily. I got a kick out of all the stares and smiles she got from passerbys.

In addition to being cute, easy to open, and the perfect size for small backs, these Ecozoo bags also have lots of great eco features:

  • organically-grown cotton canvas & rope materials
  • non-toxic dyes
  • recycled plastic components
  • sustainable wood accents
  • padded shoulder straps
  • internal pockets
  • 14 in. x 10 in. x 5 in.
  • retails for $29.99
Thanks to the very generous folks at Ecogear you are getting the chance to win one of these adorable Ecozoo puppy bags and make a child of your own squeal with delight (whose child would not love to a walk around with this cute puppy on their back?)

To Enter: Visit the Ecogear website, look around, learn about the company, have a look at their products, then come back here and leave me a comment about what you learned and what product you would love to have.

Giveaway ends Sunday June 7th.

Extra Entry: Blog about this giveaway and post the link here.
Good Luck!

How cute are those?!?!? Also, I thought their prices were quite resonable. They are working on a new series of bags "Recycled Series" made from PET bottles!

I LOVE their kids line. How very clever to name each product after an endangered animal. My daughter would flip over the backpack! I LOVE that they are non-toxic and don't use PVC.

I like the Chinook bag, too. So, my husband was asking me what PVC stood for the other day, and now I can tell him it's polyvinyl chlorine. I wonder about my dad's irrigation company and if there are PVC pipe alternatives?

I learned that EPO (Environment Pollution Omitting) technology is a safe alternative to the use of PVC, the complex technology of thermoplastic elastomer - the versatile and non-polluting raw material. One product I'd like to have is the Chinook duffel bag. Thanks.

My daughter has a serious puppy thing going on so the squeals she'd let out if she won might be loud enough for you to hear!

I learned the inspiration behind the company: What can I do to help to ensure my children have a clean and healthy planet to enjoy?

I think it's fantastic that Jimmy saw a need and then found a solution, his company's great line of bags!
